Taconic Skived PTFE Pressure Sensitive Tape

Taconic Series No. 6115 - Skived Pressure Sensitive Tape provides a competent insulating material when used as cable wrap. The highest resistance to chemicals and temperature in excess of 180°C [Class H] combined with its superior dielectric properties makes this tape one of the top electrical insulators on the market. Adhesive system is based on Silicone Polymer and has continuous operation rating at 260°C.

Taconic PTFE-Glass Pressure Sensitive Tape

Electrical Grade Series 6005 is recommended as cable wrap in high temperature high risk locations, superior cut through resistance combined with chemical resistance, high temperature, high dielectric properties are used for cable wrapping for sensitive equipment.

Premium Grade Series 6095 PTFE-Glass PSA Tac-Tape is taped to a non PTFE wiring harness for the purpose of imparting the desirable properties to the completed harness.

Taconic PTFE-Glass PSA Tac-Tapes - Standard Grade Series 6085 is used extensively in lining galley drawers in commercial airline food storage ovens. This Tac-Tape provides a non-stick, non-adsorptive lining material which is easily cleaned, non-contaminatory and resistant to the temperatures used when reheating/defrosting onboard meals.

Taconic PTFE-Glass Premium Grade [7039]

This product is used as a release liner for the bonding operation in conjunction with the manufacture of helicopter rotor blades. Taconic PTFE-Glass fabrics possess non-stick surface; ideal materials for use as release sheets in bonding operations. PTFE-Glass is flexible, allowing conformation to a variety of bonding and moulding surfaces; combined with chemical resistance and wide temperature operating range from -200°C to 300°C adequate ventilation required if process involves temperatures in excess of 260°C.

Taconic PTFE-Glass Semi-Conductive Fabrics

Taconic Semi-Conductive Tac-Blac - Product Nos. 7103AS and 7063AS. These products have been used as ring-shaped protective shielding materials for protecting components from very corrosive rock fuel - particularly hypergolic fuel reaction.

Taconic PTFE-Glass Fabrics

Have extensive use in the fabrication, protection and installation of electronic components in the current communication satellite programmes. Much of the wiring and wiring harness are protected by PTFE/Glass combinations for reasons already originally developed to reduce the hazard from static electricity by facilitating grounding of protective assemblies.
