Taconic has developed special products for use in the uPVC window industry. In this industry, our products are used when welding uPVC profiles in welding machines. They are used to cover the hot plate to prevent the hot PVC sticking to it. The non-stick and high temperature properties of our products make them an ideal solution for this application. Our uPVC products can be used at operating temperatures of up to +260°C.

In tests carried out in the uPVC window industry, our products have been shown to last significantly longer than equivalent products from other manufacturers. These products have been developed for use in all types of welding machines - e.g. Lemuth, Urban, Stürtz, Hollinger, Hassomat and Wegoma. These products can be supplied in pre-cut pieces to fit a specific type of machine or in the standard width of 1000mm.
