Jan 6, 2003 - Taconic of Petersburgh, New York is proud to celebrate its 55th year coating fiberglass with polytetrafluorethylene, more commonly know as PTFE.
Beginning with a handful of employees three generations ago, Taconic now operates manufacturing and sales facilities in Europe, the Americas and Asia.
Even with their phenomenal growth and expansion, Taconic employees remember the values and ideals that founded the company. "In 1948 my Grandfather coated his first roll of fiberglass fabric with PTFE, a tradition we at Taconic are proud to continue.
